Kristin Fisher was added to the CNN Space and Defense Correspondent team in the month of July 2021. In this role, Fisher will cover everything from NASA's newly-created Space Force to commercial space companies and space tourism. Kristin's parents are each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now employed as an White House reporter for FOX News that covers the Trump and Biden Administrations regarding space-related issues. While there, she also reported on two impeachment trials for the president, the 2020 presdiential campaign, as well as two administration's attempts to control the pandemic of coronavirus. Former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan on a highly-restricted trip. Kristin was a TV local reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., where she earned the Emmy Award for her work as an "one-man-band" reporter prior to becoming a reporter for CBS in 2015. Kristin founded Field Mouse Films with her experience behind the camera in the year 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in creating documentary films for corporate clients such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds a Bachelor's degree of journalism at Boston University. Kristin lives with husband, daughter and three-year-old in Washington, D.C.
